G.I. JOE and TRANSFORMERS Synopsis

Here are my synopsis' for my screenplays, followed by the screenplays themselves. Everything is copyrighted with both the WGA and the Library of Congress. Many thanks also to Ron Friedman for suggesting that I post my work on the Web for the fans to see. With the rights, and a little polish from Mr. Friedman himself, I could truly see my scripts becoming a reality one day and all the fans feeling like they just turned on the TV the day after G.I. JOE THE MOVIE aired. Until then though, I must move on to other work like most of the other original Transformers and G.I. Joe writers have done.

G.I. JOE “MR. AMERICA”

by

Dean Johnston

The events in “G.I. JOE THE MOVIE” have ended, and Cobra is thought to have been destroyed. Most of the G.I. Joe team has been placed on temporary leave while Duke is still recovering from his battle with Serpentor. After a late night date, Falcon and Jinx discover Zartan and the Dreadnoks robbing a bank. The Dreadnoks escape stealing Jinx’s car.

While visiting with Duke in the hospital, Sgt. Slaughter gives Falcon and Jinx front row tickets to a pay-per-view he’s wrestling in, which features WWE wrestlers Hulk Hogan, John Cena, CM Punk, and Rowdy Roddy Piper. They agree to attend, where they end up running into Zartan and the Dreadnoks again. A riot breaks out during the last match, in which Zartan kidnaps CM Punk. After the event, Sgt. Slaughter is severely injured and taken to the hospital with Duke. Falcon and Jinx try to get Hulk Hogan to join G.I. Joe, but he refuses.

Zartan and the Dreadnoks return with CM Punk to the Cobra Temple. They tell him that they want him to be their new leader since Serpentor is thought to be dead and Cobra Commander is a snake. Serpentor returns unexpectedly with Dr. Mindbender, and forces CM Punk to be tested to prove himself worthy. CM Punk passes the test and becomes Battle Armor Cobra Commander.

Serpentor devises his ultimate plan. He threatens the United States to having missiles planted around the world and aimed at the United States. The President sends the G.I. Joe team out of the country to search for these missiles which don’t exist. During this time, Zartan and Baroness kidnap the President and First Lady and disguise themselves as them to run the country into the ground, and give into Serpentor’s demands and keep G.I. Joe out of the country.

Hulk Hogan sees what’s happening and knows that something needs to be done. He dresses up as one of his alter egos, Mr. America, and starts taking on Cobra single handedly. He frees the President and a group of marines from the U.S.S. Flagg after being locked up with a bomb on the Flagg. Nobody knows who’s underneath Mr. America’s mask.

The only members of the Joe team still at Joe Headquarters is Duke, Sgt. Slaughter, Falcon, and Jinx. Cobra attacks Joe Headquarters when they’re most vulnerable. After G.I. Joe is nearly defeated, Mr. America appears with the marines. They pull the advantage back to G.I. Joe and capture all Cobra members, except for Serpentor and Battle Armor Cobra Commander who escape.

The President returns the G.I. Joe team to the United States and promises to never make any military decisions again without consulting with G.I. Joe first, and presents Mr. America with the American flag for his heroic acts.

TRANSFORMERS “STARSCREAM’S REVENGE”

by

Dean Johnston

The events in “THE RETURN OF OPTIMUS PRIME” have ended, and the Autobots and Decepticons are now at peace. The Autobots have returned to Cybertron to build their new home called Autobot City Cybertron, and the Decepticons have also returned to Cybertron.

The Quintessons have stumbled upon the Decepticons old planet of Charr, and have decided to make it their new home. While planning their next strategy to take back their old planet of Cybertron, the Quintessons discover Starscream’s lifeless body on Charr. They decide to revive Starscream in hopes that he will help them retake Cybertron.

While the Decepticons are stealing energy from Cybertron unknown to the Autobots, Starscream and the Quintessons attack Galvatron and the other Decepticons in a ship disguised with an Autobot insignia. Galvatron immediately blames Optimus Prime and the Autobots for the attack, and the Decepticons attack the Autobots, ending the peace.

During this battle, Starscream makes his presence aware to Galvatron. The Decepticons chase after Starscream, during which Starscream starts to build his own army by gaining control over Bruticus and Trypticon. Galvatron and the rest of the Decepticons retreat and plan for a final showdown with Starscream. During the next battle, Starscream gains control over the rest of the Decepticon gestalts and Galvatron and the Decepticons retreat once again.

Starscream demands the evacuation of Cybertron or threatens its destruction. The Decepticons decide that their only chance of defeating Starscream is to team with the Autobots. During a meeting between the Autobots and Decepticons, Unicron’s head appears and starts firing at the Transformers on the ground. The Autobots and Decepticons destroy Unicron’s head, and Starscream and his army fall to the ground from Unicron.

Rodimus Prime manages to get all of the Decepticon gestalts to disengage by using the Autobot Matrix. Starscream loses his advantage and is only left with Trypticon. With Metroplex still on Earth and none of the other Transformers able to stand up to Trypticon, the Dinobots combine for the first time to form a new robot called Megasaur. Megasaur defeats Trypticon and the Quintessons retreat.

With Starscream’s army defeated, Galvatron finally gets his hands on Starscream. Starscream begs for his life, and Galvatron allows him to rejoin the Decepticons and they leave together. The Autobots know that with Galvatron and Starscream working together again, the wars of the Transformers will continue another day...
